The FIREFLYMastic is a water-based acrylic sealant designed for passive fire protection applications. It is primarily used to seal around services and adhere FIREFLY Penowrap to substrates and FIREFLYBatt panels. The Brush Grade variant is specifically formulated to coat the cut edges of FIREFLYBatt, ensuring a seamless seal around service penetrations. After installing FIREFLYBatt sheets, FIREFLYMastic fills any small gaps and holes, creating an effective barrier around services. This sealant is available in 310ml cartridges, 600ml sausages, and 5-liter Brush Grade tubs, catering to various project requirements. Tested in accordance with AS1530.4 (2014) and assessed per AS4072.1 (2005), FIREFLYMastic contributes to achieving a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of up to -/240/240, depending on the specific system configuration.
