The FIREFLY Penowrap® is a versatile, lightweight, and flexible fire-resistant wrap designed to maintain the integrity of fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings penetrated by structural elements or services. With dimensions of 10 meters in length, 12 millimeters in thickness, and 300 millimeters in width, and a density of 167 kg/m³, it offers robust protection without adding significant bulk. Tested in accordance with Schedule 5 of NCC2019 and NCC2022, FIREFLY Penowrap® has demonstrated fire resistance levels (FRL) of up to -/240/240, depending on the specific system configuration. Its applications include wrapping steel universal beams, timber beams, C & Z purlins, various service penetrations, power and communication cables (with or without steel cable trays), and electrical busducts with copper or aluminum conductors.
